History of the Inca
Around 1300 C.E., the Andes mountain range contained an awesome new civilization, the Incas. The Inca combined stuff and more stuff from other civilizations to create themselves. The Inca were a very successful group of people, which was the result of a strong government. They had control over a huge area throughout the Andes Mountains. By 1520, the Inca ruled an area of almost 3000 miles. But then, in 1528, Pizzaro and his small army of men landed on the shores. At first, the Incas fed and welcomed the strangers, only to find out that that was a huge mistake. Even though the Inca had a Massive army, the spaniards had three key things to winning: Guns, Germs, and Steel. These three things are what led to the fall of the great Inca, and if that didn't happen, I'm sure there would still be people who farmed over 200 types of potatoes. But NOOOO, the spaniards HAD to conquer the potato-making group.
